Friends of Seniors, a fund under the El Dorado Community Foundation, is an organization supporting wellness, life enrichment, dignity and independence of El Dorado County Seniors and their caregivers through advocacy and financial assistance.

Friends of Seniors, with the community’s generosity and assistance, supports programs for El Dorado County seniors. The following links highlight resources that may be especially helpful.

  • Defensible Space Assistance Program: For seniors or veterans financially and physically unable to develop defensible space around their home.
  • Senior Emergency Fund: To help seniors in an unforeseen crisis who have exhausted all other resources.
  • Senior Nutrition Program: Home delivered meals, congregate meals, and lunch ‘to-go’ meals for pick up.
